George Clooney and Brad Pitt have been back together on the red carpet. They officially opened the Venice Film Festival with their new dark comedy, Burn After Reading. Early reviews are good, The Guardian gives it four stars.

A solid gold sculpture of Kate Moss is being unveiled. The statue - which cost one-and-a-half million pounds - is on display at the British Museum. It's said to be the largest gold statue to be made since the Ancient Egyptians.
